The uses of 100% pure silk ribbon are innumerable but include hand and machine embroidery, doll dressing, decorative serging, smocking, weaving, etc. All colors you see are available in 4mm widths. Some colors are available in 2mm or 7mm The unique plastic reel assures no creased ribbon and provides convenient storage during a project or to save unused ribbon for future use.
Bunka is braided rayon and is available in 30 shades that match our silk ribbon colors. Originally used in making tassels, today Bunka is used in a wide variety of projects. Doll clothing, punch embroidery, and Brazilian embroidery are only a few examples. Miniaturist use it either as is or "pulled out" for making rugs, flowers, and wide variety of projects
